Welcome To The Juniper Human Leadership Coaching Journey
Journey Overview
Human Resources executives increasingly believe that leaders today must focus on the human aspects of leadership. Yet, a survey conducted in 2022, found that less than one third of employees across industries report that their leader is a human leader.
There are three components that make up human leadership:
- Authentic: Act with purpose and enable true self-expression, for both yourself and your teams.
- Empathetic: Show genuine care, respect and concern for employees’ well-being.
- Adaptive: Enable flexibility and support that fits team members’ unique needs.
Organizations that are able to develop more human leaders will find that these leaders’ teams have less turnover, higher engagement and better well-being.
Journey Objectives
Within this Journey, you will explore how to:
- Build your self-awareness such that you can be an authentic leader.
- Work on your purpose and use it to inspire others to align on something greater than themselves.
- Practice transparency in interactions with others to demonstrate honesty and build trust.
- Communicate with empathy and see the world through others’ eyes.
- Adapt your leadership style to team member needs by connecting to your inner coach.
The Experience
You are about to embark upon a unique experience that offers the personalized support you need to succeed. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Set Your Journey Goal
It all begins with defining your goal for the journey. Research has shown that the best way to achieve your goals is to write them down, share them, and report your progress regularly. Scroll down to view more details on setting your journey goal.
Step 2: Book A Goal Setting Call
Once you’ve set your goal, you will discuss it in further detail in a 1:1 goal-setting session. Your coach will help you clearly define your goal, create a plan of action, and keep you accountable and motivated throughout your journey.
Step 3: Complete Modules
Within each module, you will have access to platform content that offers insight into a key set of behaviors, and have unlimited access to 1:1 coaching sessions to help you take action on those insights. We suggest you check in with your manager periodically to share the actions that you have taken and the results you have seen. Another option is to connect with your peers to share success stories and challenges you have encountered.
The core of the experience is establishing a relationship with a TaskHuman coach to help you develop strategies to support your specific goals and provide guidance and accountability throughout the journey and beyond. Lastly, we’ve curated a list of additional resources that can provide additional information to help you maximize your experience.

The first step in your journey is to define your goal. Take a minute to think about this question: What’s the one thing you’d like to accomplish on your human leadership journey? Whatever your reason for participating in this program, now’s the time to get clear about what you want to get out of it. Please select one of the following goals.
