TaskHuman User Payment Policy

This payment policy (“Payment Policy”) applies to Users who purchase minutes (“TaskHuman Minutes”) or otherwise make payments on the TaskHuman Platform. TaskHuman Minutes are redeemable for calls by Users to Coaches on the TaskHuman Platform (“TaskHuman Calls”), as further described herein.  You understand that the purchase of TaskHuman Minutes will result in charges to you (“Charges”).  

This Payment Policy is an important part of the Agreement between you and TaskHuman, and any capitalized terms not defined in this Payment Policy have the meaning given to them in the Agreement or any policies referenced therein. 

Awareness of Purchase

You are responsible for reviewing the applicable pricing for TaskHuman Minutes within the TaskHuman Platform, and you will be responsible for all Charges incurred under your User account regardless of your awareness of such Charges or the amounts thereof.

Refunds

All Charges are non-refundable and final.  This no-refund policy shall apply at all times regardless of your decision to terminate usage of the TaskHuman Platform, any disruption to the TaskHuman Platform or Services, or any other reason whatsoever.

Limitations on TaskHuman Minutes

TaskHuman Minutes have no cash value nor any other value outside of the TaskHuman Platform and are not redeemable for cash. For the avoidance of doubt, TaskHuman Minutes do not operate or serve as stored value facilities in any way. You may not transfer, trade, gift, or otherwise exchange TaskHuman Minutes.

TaskHuman Minutes Usage

TaskHuman Minutes are determined to be consumed by a User based on the actual duration (in minutes) of each TaskHuman Call.   For the avoidance of doubt, the call duration will be rounded up to include the full minute of any partial minute spent on the call.

Cancellations

TaskHuman Minutes are charged for TaskHuman Calls actually completed.  After scheduling or requesting a TaskHuman Call, you may cancel it through the TaskHuman Platform at any time prior to the call commencement without utilizing any of your TaskHuman Minutes.

Promotions and Discounts

TaskHuman may from time to time, and in its sole discretion, provide certain Users with promotional offers, discounts, referral programs, and other rewards programs that may result in different amounts charged for the same number of TaskHuman Minutes. You agree that such promotional offers and discounts, unless also made available to you, will have no bearing on your use of the Services or the Charges applied to you.  TaskHuman reserves the right to withhold or deduct any credits, monetary benefits, or other similar benefits obtained through a promotion or program in the event that TaskHuman determines or believes that the redemption of the promotion or receipt of the credit or benefit was in error, fraudulent, illegal, or in violation of the applicable promotion or program terms or this Agreement.  TaskHuman further reserves the right to terminate, discontinue, or cancel any promotions or programs at any time and in its sole discretion without notice to you.

Right to Use Funds

TaskHuman may use the proceeds of any Charges for any purpose, subject to any payment obligations it has agreed to with any third parties.

Modification of Payment Policy

TaskHuman reserves the right to make changes to this Payment Policy (or any portion thereof) at any time in our sole discretion. Any changes will be posted on the TaskHuman Platform, indicating the date on which the terms were last updated.  Any changes will be effective upon the date of posting, unless explicitly stated otherwise. As long as you use the TaskHuman Platform, you are agreeing to this Payment Policy and any updates we make to it.   If you disagree with the updated Payment Policy, you may terminate this agreement with immediate effect by discontinuing your use of the TaskHuman Platform. Your continued use of the TaskHuman Platform following the effective date of any modified terms indicates your acceptance of such modified agreement.
