Desired Program Outcome:
Participants will leave the program with a stronger understanding of how to navigate cultural differences with empathy and respect. They’ll know how to hold more inclusive conversations, recognize and use their privilege to support others, and build meaningful, authentic relationships across diverse teams.
Program Objectives:
By the end of this program, you’ll be able to confidently:
- Explore the feeling of belonging to a group based on nationality, ethnicity, religion, social class, generation, locality, or other types of social groups that have their own distinct culture.
- Navigate cultural differences with respect and empathy. Understand the similarities and differences between cultures without assigning a value of positive or negative, better or worse, right or wrong.
- Increase your empathy for others. Deepen your ability to understand and feel what other people are experiencing. Strengthen your relationships and learn how to bond more closely.
- Connect with people more deeply through active listening techniques. Explore how to stay engaged during conversations and empathize with the people you speak with.
- Make your conversations more open and inviting. Learn ways to make others feel welcome to join your conversations and contribute freely. Practice speaking to more people rather than limiting yourself to a single group.
- Learn about what privilege is and how it shapes our experiences. Build empathy for people from different walks of life and discover ways to leverage your privilege to help others.

Grow Your Cultural Awareness is designed to help individual contributors develop cultural competency and thrive in today’s diverse, interconnected work environments. Throughout the program, you’ll learn to navigate cultural differences thoughtfully, communicate across diverse perspectives, and adapt your approach to build meaningful connections with colleagues from all backgrounds. With an emphasis on empathy, respect, and inclusive collaboration, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to bridge cultural gaps, foster belonging, and elevate your impact in every cross-cultural interaction. By the end of the program, you’ll be a culturally aware, inclusive communicator, and will be ready to drive understanding, contribute meaningfully, and lead with cultural intelligence.
